We wondered what color Badger would shed off as a two year old - buttermilk or golden buckskin.  We were both wrong - he shed of BUCKSKIN ROAN!!!
So he definitely carries the roan gene.  We can't wait to see what colors he throws!!!

BADGER HAS HIS FIRST COLT CROP ON THE GROUND and HIS NEXT ONE IS COMING!!!
 
His first colt crop was 100% color a nice added bonus!!!

Badger's sire was a buckskin homozygous black stallion that ONLY produced BUCKSKINS (some with ROAN characteristics), BAY ROANS, and BAYS.  Badger is out of a daughter of a RED ROAN son of Peppy San Badger!!!  He should be a great COLOR PRODUCER!!!!

Badger has grown up on our place with our kids and he has been GREAT to work with and be around.  He is very personable and LOVES attention. 
 
He is a fluid mover and travels naturally collected.  
He DEFINITELY has some cowhorse moves - he is fun to watch!!!
 
Along with his NICE CONFORMATION and  BEAUTIFUL BUCKSKIN color he has a long, pretty mane and thick, gorgeous tail - a pretty picture all the way around.
